Slim Thug, the Houston rap star, has publicly acknowledged that he owes Cassie an apology following the release of a video showing Diddy assaulting her. The disturbing footage, which emerged recently, captured Diddy physically attacking Cassie in a hotel room.

In the video, Diddy can be seen grabbing Cassie by the neck, throwing her to the floor, and kicking her repeatedly. He then takes her personal items and kicks her once more before retreating to his hotel room. Cassie attempts to call for assistance using a hotel phone, but Diddy shoves her down again. He is later seen sitting in a hotel chair, still wearing only a towel, and throwing what appears to be a vase in her direction.

Slim Thug’s apology stems from his previous defense of Diddy. In 2023, Cassie accused Diddy of rape and domestic abuse in a lawsuit. Slim Thug had publicly expressed skepticism about Cassie’s claims, suggesting that she filed the lawsuit for financial gain. However, in light of the recent video evidence, he now acknowledges his error and extends apologies to Cassie and others who were on the right side of this issue.
