Isaiah Rashad Gives Update on New Album: 'I Might Change the Title'

Isaiah Rashad, the celebrated rapper from Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), has provided an eagerly awaited update on his upcoming fourth album. During a stop in Dallas on May 22, part of his Cilvia Demo 10th anniversary tour, Rashad hinted at the album's potential release timeframe and its current status.

"I might change the title of it but I’m working on my fourth project,” Rashad announced to the crowd. “I don’t know, like, probably later on this year. Most likely.”

This announcement was met with enthusiasm from fans who have been anticipating new music since his 2021 release, *The House Is Burning*. Rashad’s tour, celebrating a decade since his debut project *Cilvia Demo*, has been a nostalgic journey, showcasing the evolution of his music and career.

In December, Rashad first mentioned his fourth album while revealing plans for the anniversary tour. On Instagram, he expressed gratitude to his supporters: “Half of way thru the 4rth one..: gotta give thx to the 1st one…Gotta give thx to the folks (yall) thats been holding it down 4r the last ten years.”

The rapper also honored the anniversary with a special performance at Spotify Studios, sharing insights and anecdotes about *Cilvia Demo*. Released on January 28, 2014, *Cilvia Demo* was Rashad’s first major project under TDE, featuring collaborations with SZA, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock. Though not an initial commercial hit, it garnered critical acclaim and developed a dedicated fanbase over the years.

Fans eagerly await Rashad’s forthcoming album, which promises to continue his legacy of introspective and innovative hip-hop. With the potential release set for later in 2024, the excitement surrounding Rashad’s new music is palpable.
