Wyclef Jean, the former member of the Fugees, showed off his rap prowess by delivering a stunning freestyle for the legendary Big Daddy Kane at a recent Hip Hop 50 event.

The Haitian-born rapper, who is known for his eclectic musical style and humanitarian work, impressed Kane with his clever wordplay and flow, as he rhymed about various topics while counting up from one to ten.

Kane, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest MCs of all time and a pioneer of the golden age of hip hop, praised Wyclef for his performance and gave him a hug. The two also exchanged some friendly banter and jokes, showing their mutual respect and admiration.

The freestyle was captured on video and shared by Instagram user @drevinciwrks, who wrote: "Wyclef Jean freestyles for Big Daddy Kane. This was amazing to witness." The clip received thousands of likes and comments from fans, who expressed their awe and appreciation for Wyclef's talent and skill.

Wyclef Jean has been busy lately, as he reunited with his Fugees partners Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel for a tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their classic album The Score. The trio performed at the Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans in July, where they thrilled the audience with their hits such as "Ready or Not", "Killing Me Softly", and "Fu-Gee-La".

Wyclef also revealed in a recent interview with TMZ that he hopes to release new music with the Fugees, saying that they are "the hip-hop Beatles" and that "anything can happen". However, Lauryn Hill announced in November that she had to postpone the tour until 2024 due to "serious vocal strain".
