Surveillance video obtained by CNN appears to show music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a 2016 hotel attack. The incident, which Cassie detailed in a since-settled lawsuit, alleged that Diddy physically and sexually abused her for years.

The video, captured in a hotel hallway at the now-defunct InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, shows Diddy running in nothing but a towel, pursuing Cassie as she attempts to leave in an elevator. He throws Cassie to the floor, kicks her, and drags her down the hall by her hood. Cassie is seen trying to make a call using the hotel phone, while Diddy throws what appears to be a vase at someone off-camera.

This footage aligns with Cassie’s lawsuit, where she described the incident as follows: “In or around March 2016, during an FO at the InterContinental Hotel, Mr. Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye.” The lawsuit further states that after Diddy fell asleep, Cassie tried to leave the hotel room, but he followed her into the hallway, yelling and throwing glass vases at her.

Diddy vehemently denied all allegations at the time, but he was subsequently sued by other women alleging sexual misconduct. Since then, he has become the focus of a federal investigation.

Despite the disturbing video, Diddy and Cassie were photographed at a public event just two days after the incident, seemingly unaffected. Cassie’s attorney praised her courage in coming forward to shed light on Diddy’s behavior.

Representatives for Diddy did not immediately respond to requests for comment following the video’s release123.

The surveillance video provides compelling evidence of the alleged assault, and Cassie’s bravery in speaking out against abuse deserves recognition. Diddy’s denial and subsequent legal battles underscore the seriousness of the situation. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of holding individuals accountable for their actions456
