Drake has suggested that new music might be on the way, possibly as soon as this summer.
In an undated Instagram story that went viral on Saturday (May 25), Gordo, Drizzy’s longtime producer who worked on his most recent album, *For All The Dogs*, posted a photo of the 6 God sticking up his middle finger at the lens, hinting that the pair were working on new music together. The caption read, "You guys ready for summer 2024…"

This news comes on the heels of Sexyy Red’s recent viral moment with her new album, *In Sexyy We Trust*, which featured a surprise cameo by Drake. In the track, he spits over Metro Boomin's "BBL Drizzy" beat. Following the album's release, a fan jokingly asked Sexyy Red if she was "fucking Drake for features," to which she responded succinctly, "yes."
Drake's admiration for Sexyy Red has been evident since her rise to fame last year. He has referred to her as his guiding light, sharing photos on Instagram from his *It’s All a Blur — Big As the What?* tour with J. Cole and Lil Durk, and captioning one of them, "Red really my muse in this short and confusing life."
Additionally, Sexyy Red played the mother of Drake’s child in the music video for their collaboration "Rich Baby Daddy" from *For All the Dogs*. Over the summer, a viral photo captured Drake planting a kiss on Sexyy Red's cheek during a concert in New York, where he called her his “rightful wife.”
However, not everyone is convinced of the authenticity of their relationship. Last month, Joe Budden implied on his podcast that Drake might be getting paid to promote Sexyy Red. He speculated, “Respectfully, it sound like a n-gga that could rap at that level that gets paid off of everybody’s deal tryna rap. That’s what it sound like to me.” He questioned Drake's genuine interest in being around Sexyy Red, suggesting there might be financial motivations behind their public interactions.
Sexyy Red responded to these speculations simply by posting on X (formerly Twitter), “They so dumb.”
With these developments, the anticipation for Drake’s potential summer release continues to build among fans
