The rap beef between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion is heating up, as Nicki has dropped a new track titled “Bite” in response to Meg’s diss song “Hiss.”

On Friday (January 26), Meg released her new single “Hiss,” which featured some thinly-veiled jabs at Nicki. The song included lines such as “You ain’t the queen, you just a clown / You need to sit your ass down” and “You can’t rap, you just a gimmick / You should retire, you past your limit.”

Nicki wasted no time in firing back, as she released “Bite” on Saturday (January 27). The track, which features Lil Wayne, is a scathing attack on Meg, as Nicki accuses her of being ungrateful, fake, and jealous. Some of the lyrics are:

“You used to be my fan, now you my enemy / You bit the hand that fed you, now you got rabies”

“You ain’t a savage, you a copycat / You stole my style, you stole my swag”

“You think you hot, but you really not / You just a flop, you just a thot”

Lil Wayne also adds his own verse, in which he defends Nicki and mocks Meg’s hit song “WAP.” He raps:

“Nicki is the best, she don’t need no validation / She got more hits than you, she got more nominations”

“You got that WAP, but you ain’t got no rap / You got that wet ass pussy, but you ain’t got no bars”

The rap feud between Nicki and Meg started last year, when Meg collaborated with Cardi B, Nicki’s longtime rival, on “WAP.” Nicki reportedly felt betrayed by Meg, who had previously worked with Nicki on “Hot Girl Summer.” Since then, the two have been throwing shade at each other on social media and in their music.

Fans of both rappers have been divided over the beef, with some taking sides and others calling for peace. Some have also speculated that the beef is a publicity stunt to boost their sales and streams.

Neither Nicki nor Meg have commented on their latest songs, but it seems that the rap battle is far from over. Who will have the last word? Stay tuned for more updates.
