DDG, the rapper and YouTuber who recently went viral for being slapped by intruders in his home, is ready to drop his new single 'She Don't Play' on Friday (December 15). The song features a sample of Lil Mama's 2007 hit 'Lip Gloss', which DDG puts his own twist on.

DDG gave his fans a sneak peek of the track on TikTok, where he posted a video of him and his girlfriend Halle Bailey dancing to the catchy chorus. "Baby tell me what's the move?/Got a Louis bag but I can tell it ain't from dude," he sings. "Chasing dollar signs and you can tell that she don't play/She don't really care what n-ggas say!"

The song is expected to be a part of DDG's upcoming project, which will follow his debut album Die 4 Respect, released in March. The album featured collaborations with Lil Yachty, Coi Leray, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and more.

DDG and Bailey, who is one half of the Grammy-nominated duo Chloe x Halle, have been dating since 2020 and have faced pregnancy rumors and online trolls. However, the couple seems to be unfazed by the negativity and often share their love on social media.

In September, DDG surprised Bailey with a shopping spree, but soon regretted it when he saw how much she was spending. He documented his hilarious reaction on Snapchat, where he went from excited to stressed as Bailey picked out expensive items like $500 teacups and $30,000 earrings. He even asked his followers if he should "abort the mission" and wrote "It's nowhere for me to run" as he looked defeated.

DDG is known for his humorous content, which he started making on YouTube before pursuing his rap career. He has over 10 million subscribers across his channels and has earned millions of views for his pranks, challenges, and vlogs. He also has a knack for creating viral moments, such as when he revealed that he was slapped by two men who broke into his house in October.

DDG shared the CCTV footage of the incident on Instagram, where he showed how he was woken up by a slap and then grabbed a weapon to chase the intruders. He said that the men did not steal anything and that he did not know their motive. He also said that he was not hurt and that he was not scared. "Whoever you are, I don't know what type of sick game you think you playing," he said. "I don't know if you think it's cool to sneak in my house and put your hands on me as a joke. It's not funny."

DDG is not the only rapper to sample Lil Mama's 'Lip Gloss' this year. In April, NLE Choppa released a remix of the song, featuring Sukihana, which sparked a feud between Sukihana and Lil Mama. Lil Mama accused Sukihana of degrading herself and women in the video, while Sukihana clapped back by calling Lil Mama irrelevant and homophobic.

Lil Mama has not commented on DDG's version of 'Lip Gloss' yet, but fans are curious to see if she will approve or disapprove of his rendition.
