21 Savage and SZA lead iHeartRadio Awards nominations

The iHeartRadio Awards have revealed their nominees for the 2024 edition, and two of the biggest names in Hip Hop and R&B are leading the pack. 21 Savage and SZA have both received eight nominations each, competing in categories such as Song of the Year, Hip Hop Artist of the Year, and R&B Artist of the Year.

The awards, which will take place on March 11 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, will also feature seven new categories, including Best Music Video, Best Collaboration, and Best Remix. Taylor Swift, who released her ninth studio album Evermore in December, also scored eight nominations, tying with 21 Savage and SZA for the most nods.

Other artists who received multiple nominations include The Weeknd, Megan Thee Stallion, Ariana Grande, BTS, and Harry Styles. The winners will be determined by fan voting, which is open until March 9 on the iHeartRadio website and app. The show will be broadcast live on Fox and iHeartMedia radio stations.

The iHeartRadio Awards, which were established in 2014, celebrate the most popular artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and platforms. The awards also honor music icons with special awards, such as the iHeartRadio Innovator Award, the iHeartRadio Icon Award, and the iHeartRadio Titanium Award. The 2024 show will be hosted by Usher, who will also perform during the event.
