Rapper Cam’ron is not one to shy away from expressing his opinions, especially when it comes to his beefs with other celebrities. The Harlem native has recently taken his feud with former video vixen and media personality Melyssa Ford to a new level by wearing a custom-made t-shirt that reads “Melyssa Ford Is A Whore” on Nelly’s podcast.
The t-shirt was spotted by Jermaine Dupri, who was a guest on Nelly’s show It Is What It Is on Friday (January 12). Dupri shared a video clip of the podcast on his Instagram account, where Cam’ron can be seen sitting next to Nelly while wearing the controversial shirt. Dupri captioned the post, “This is what happens when you invite @mr_camron to your podcast @nelly @it_is_what_it_is_podcast.”
The origin of Cam’ron’s beef with Ford is unclear, but it dates back to at least 2016, when the rapper called her out on his song “Oh Yeah” featuring Juelz Santana. On the track, Cam’ron raps, “I had Melyssa Ford, but that was years ago / That’s why I’m laughing at her, ask her how her rear end go.” Ford responded to the diss on her podcast I’m Here For The Food, where she claimed that Cam’ron was lying about their relationship and that he was obsessed with her.
Ford also revealed that Cam’ron had sent her a direct message on Instagram, where he apologized for the diss and asked her to be on his show. She said that she declined his offer and blocked him. She added, “He’s a pathological liar. He lies about everything. He lies about things that don’t even matter.”
Cam’ron has not publicly addressed his t-shirt stunt, but it seems that he is not ready to let go of his grudge against Ford. Meanwhile, Ford has not reacted to the latest jab from the rapper, who is known for his long-standing feuds with the likes of Jay-Z, Nas, 50 Cent, and Kanye West.
