Megan Thee Stallion has released a new video for her song ‘Not My Fault’, which pays homage to the cult classic movie ‘Mean Girls’.

The video, directed by Colin Tilley, features Megan and her friends as the Plastics, the popular clique from the 2004 comedy film. Megan plays the role of Regina George, the leader of the group, while her collaborators Juicy J and Lil Durk appear as Aaron Samuels and Kevin Gnapoor, respectively.

The video recreates some of the iconic scenes from the movie, such as the Plastics walking down the hallway, the talent show performance, and the Burn Book. Megan also adds her own twist to the plot, as she raps about her success and confidence over a trap beat. ‘Not My Fault’ is the latest single from Megan’s debut album ‘Good News’, which was released in November 2020. The album features guest appearances from Beyoncé, SZA, DaBaby, City Girls, and more. It also includes the hit songs ‘Savage Remix’, ‘Body’, and ‘Don’t Stop’. Megan Thee Stallion is nominated for four Grammy Awards this year, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, and Best Rap Song. She will also perform at the ceremony, which will take place on March 14, 2021.
