Snoop Dogg and Master P sue Walmart and Post over cereal dispute

Rappers Snoop Dogg and Master P are taking legal action against Walmart and Post Consumer Brands for allegedly interfering with their cereal brand, Snoop Cereal.

According to the lawsuit filed by Broadus Foods, the company owned by Snoop and Master P, Post had agreed to produce and distribute Snoop Cereal, a breakfast product featuring Snoop's image and signature flavors.

However, the lawsuit claims that Post breached the contract by failing to deliver the agreed amount of cereal boxes, refusing to promote the product, and diverting customers to other Post cereals.

The lawsuit also accuses Walmart of conspiring with Post to sabotage Snoop Cereal by removing it from the shelves, reducing its price, and placing it in unfavorable locations.

Broadus Foods is seeking damages for lost profits, breach of contract, unfair competition, and trademark infringement. The company alleges that Post and Walmart have caused "irreparable harm" to Snoop Cereal and its reputation.

Snoop Dogg and Master P have not commented publicly on the lawsuit, but their lawyer said they are confident that they will prevail in court.

Post Consumer Brands and Walmart have not responded to the allegations.
