Kendrick Lamar Shatters Drake’s Streaming Record Amidst Epic Rap Feud

In an unprecedented display of lyrical prowess and digital dominance, Kendrick Lamar has eclipsed Drake’s streaming record with his latest track “Not Like Us,” propelling the rap feud to new heights. The Mustard-produced diss track has become the fastest song in hip hop history to reach the 100 million streams milestone on Spotify, a title previously held by Drake’s 2018 hit “God’s Plan.”

The competition between the two rap titans has taken over the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” debuted at No. 1, with his previous diss track “Euphoria” holding strong at No. 3 in its second week, and the feud’s initiator, Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” at No. 6. Drake’s counter-diss “Family Matters” has also made its presence felt, entering the chart at No. 7.

Producer Mustard, reveling in the success, took to social media to express his triumph. “Sometimes you really gotta pop out and show n-ggas!!!” he exclaimed, celebrating Los Angeles’ return to the spotlight. “They really fronted on me and acted like I’m not who I am! I’m thankful but not surprised; I never lost sight and stayed down.”

Kendrick Lamar’s entire catalog has seen a significant boost on the Billboard 200 chart, with all his major label projects experiencing a surge in streams and sales. “DAMN.” now sits at No. 18, climbing from No. 41, while “good kid, m.A.A.d city” has risen to No. 23 from No. 51. “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” and “To Pimp a Butterfly” have also seen remarkable ascents to No. 55 and No. 109, respectively.

In contrast, Drake’s chart positions have seen a decline, with his highest-charting album “For All the Dogs” dropping to No. 20 from No. 17.

This lyrical clash has been dubbed the ‘Best Battle Of All Time’ by Dame Dash, reflecting the intense rivalry that has captivated the hip hop community and music fans worldwide.

As the saga continues, both artists’ legacies are being written in real-time, with each record-breaking release and chart-topping hit adding a new chapter to this historic battle.
