..him and put hands on my lil brother for simply trying to protect my mom. You’re pathetic.”
Indira directly linked to a 2014 HipHopDX article detailing how Diddy had allegedly verbally abused Chaka Khan and ordered his security to beat her son, Damien Holland, at a pre-Grammy party.
According to the article, Chaka Khan had arrived at the event with her son, who was then a teenager, to support her friend Prince. But Diddy allegedly became aggressive towards her when she refused to fulfill his demands for her to perform at his party.
"He had a Russian girl who didn't speak English who just had a bottle of Ciroc in her hand, and she kept handing it to everybody,” Chaka Khan told HipHopDX in an exclusive interview. "He was like, 'Come on, pass the Ciroc!' And I was like, 'No, I don't want any of your Ciroc! I was like, 'What is wrong with you?!'"
Damien, who had intervened to protect his mother, was then allegedly assaulted by Diddy's security team. Chaka Khan also claimed that Diddy had called her a “bitch” and “old” during the confrontation.
>The incident was witnessed by multiple attendees, including Prince and singer Miguel, who corroborated Chaka Khan’s account of events.
Diddy's representatives have yet to respond to these latest allegations. However, this is not the first time the media mogul has been involved in physical altercations or faced accusations of verbal abuse. In 1999, he was arrested for assaulting record executive Steve Stoute and in 2015, he was arrested for assaulting his son’s football coach.
The ongoing accusations have also called into question Diddy’s credibility as a leader in the music industry, with many questioning if he is the right person to present the DX Awards this year.
As the controversy surrounding Diddy continues to grow, it remains to be seen how he will handle these latest allegations and if they will have any impact on his career. Stay tuned to HipHopDX for more updates on this developing story.
