In a surprising turn of events, Young Thug's lawyer, Brian Steel, has managed to evade a jail sentence after a dramatic arrest in the courtroom during the YSL RICO trial. The unfolding saga took a new twist when Steel found himself in contempt of court after confronting Judge Ural Glanville regarding a private conversation allegedly held between the judge, prosecutors, and a key witness before a court hearing.
Initially facing a sentence of 10 weekends in jail, Steel has now been granted bond pending his appeal of the contempt charge. This means he will no longer be required to report to jail on Friday, a decision celebrated by his legal team.

"We are thrilled that Brian will be home with his family for Father’s Day this weekend. We appreciate how quickly and thoughtfully our appellate courts handled this unfortunate situation," remarked Ashleigh Merchant, Steel's attorney.
The altercation between Steel and Judge Glanville erupted after Steel discovered the clandestine meeting, refusing to disclose the identity of the informant. Despite Glanville's insistence that Steel could purge the contempt charge by revealing the source, Steel maintained his duty of confidentiality.
Furthermore, in a dramatic courtroom moment, witness Kenneth Copeland, central to Steel's clash with Glanville, refused to testify despite having secured an immunity deal. Copeland also dismissed his attorney while on the witness stand, leading to further courtroom tension.
As the trial continues, with Young Thug identified as the alleged gunman in a 911 call played earlier, the legal drama surrounding the case shows no signs of abating. With key players making bold moves and tensions running high, the YSL RICO trial continues to captivate audiences and legal observers alike.
