In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Elon Musk did not hold back his criticism of Jennifer Lopez, questioning her credibility in light of her past relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs. Musk's remarks came in the context of Lopez's criticism of Donald Trump regarding his comments about Puerto Ricans.
Musk pointed out Lopez's history with Diddy, who she dated from 1999 to 2001, and challenged her stance on social issues. “J.Lo was like his ex-girlfriend, and now all of a sudden, she’s warning people about Trump. How many people did she warn about Diddy? Oh, zero. Maybe we shouldn’t trust her opinion,” Musk stated.
The Tesla CEO further claimed that those within the music industry should have been aware of Diddy’s alleged abusive behavior, questioning the lack of accountability in the entertainment sector. “People in the music entertainment industry had to know that Diddy was, like, abusing, you know, kids basically, and yet they still fed him kids,” Musk added.
Lopez has remained silent about Diddy since he was first accused of sexual assault last year by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, and has not commented on the subsequent legal proceedings where Diddy faces charges of sex trafficking—allegations he has strongly denied.
This is not the first instance where Musk has linked Diddy to criticisms of political figures. Following Eminem's endorsement of Kamala Harris, Musk drew a parallel between the rapper and Diddy’s ongoing trial, insinuating a connection that lacks substantiation. On his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Musk posted, “Yet another Diddy party participant,” referencing the scrutiny surrounding Diddy’s lavish parties after his arrest.
Diddy's case centers around serious allegations of orchestrating “freak off” sex sessions where women were reportedly forced to engage with male prostitutes for his gratification. He faces multiple lawsuits, including accusations of sexual assault involving minors, which have painted a troubling picture of his long-standing influence in the music industry.
As the public continues to grapple with the allegations against Diddy, Musk's comments have reignited discussions about accountability within the entertainment industry, particularly regarding the relationships and behaviors of its prominent figures.
