The legendary R&B group Jodeci is set to bring their smooth New Jack Swing sound to the Las Vegas strip with a new residency starting in 2024. The group, which consists of brothers K-Ci and JoJo, and DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin, announced their show, titled "The Show, The Afterparty, The Vegas Residency", on Tuesday (December 12).

The residency will take place at the House of Blues inside the Mandalay Bay Resort, and will feature the group's classic hits, such as "Forever My Lady", "Come and Talk to Me", and "Freek'n You". The show's name is a homage to their 1995 album The Show, The After Party, The Hotel, which was their last studio album before their hiatus.

Tickets for the residency will go on sale on Wednesday (December 13) for Citi cardholders, and on Thursday (December 14) for House of Blues, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster customers. The general public will be able to purchase tickets starting on Monday (December 18).

Jodeci is not the only hip-hop and R&B act that will grace the Las Vegas stage in 2024. Wu-Tang Clan also announced their residency, called "Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues ... The Las Vegas Residency", which will kick off in February at the Theater at Virgin Hotels. The rap group will perform their iconic songs, such as "C.R.E.A.M.", "Protect Ya Neck", and "Gravel Pit".

Another R&B star who has made a mark in Las Vegas is Usher, who recently wrapped up his residency, called "My Way", at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The singer was honored by the city with a key and a proclamation of Usher Raymond Day in October. He will also headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Las Vegas in 2024, the first time the city will host the NFL event.
