Nicki Minaj has announced that 50 Cent will be making an appearance on her upcoming album, Pink Friday 2. On December 8, Nicki took to X (formerly Twitter) where she responded to a Complex headline highlighting which tracks the album the outlet believes to be the best from the album. "Well wait til they hear Schfifty Schent verse on it next week. #GagCity we here," Nicki captioned a repost of the story.
In a follow-up, on December 9, she hit up Fif directly, urging him to fork over the highly anticipated feature. "Send that verse in sir [sigh emoji]#QGTM," she wrote; accompanied by a snap of the pair — a picture shared by 50 Cent as part of a birthday wish to the superstar on the eve of her big day. Pink Friday 2 was released on December 8 and features 22 tracks, including the previously released “Super Freaky Girl,” “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” and “Last Time I Saw You,” and boasts additional features from Drake, Lil Wayne, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, and others. The project serves as the sequel to her 2010 debut album Pink Friday and her first album since 2018’s Queen, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 185,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
