Former drug lord Ricky Donnell Ross, famously known as Freeway Ricky Ross, has raised eyebrows with his recent comments about rapper Rick Ross, alleging that the hip-hop artist conveniently vanishes whenever there's a chance of a face-to-face encounter.

During an extensive conversation on The Joe Rogan Experience, Freeway, who served a life sentence in the '90s for operating a vast drug empire before being released in 2009, shed light on his alleged interactions with the rapper.

Responding to Rogan's inquiry about confrontations with Rick Ross, Freeway disclosed, "Anytime I'm around he disappears," highlighting what he perceives as avoidance tactics employed by the rapper.

Freeway expressed surprise at the lack of uproar over Rick Ross adopting his name for his performing persona, especially considering his controversial past. He remarked, "These guys...when you got some money, they don't care if you beating women or making them lick tampons, you know everybody f***s with you."

The former drug lord also delved into Rick Ross's prior employment as a corrections officer, suggesting that the rapper's transition into a successful music career led many to overlook his past. Freeway recounted anecdotes from individuals who claimed to have interacted with Ross during his time as a corrections officer, portraying him in a negative light.

Addressing the issue of name appropriation, Freeway expressed bewilderment at Rick Ross's failure to seek his approval or acknowledge his influence. He lamented, "How would you take my name and not have the decency to ask me?" Despite initiating a lawsuit against the rapper in 2010, Freeway ultimately lost the case, resulting in a significant financial burden.

Freeway revealed that he now owes Rick Ross's legal team a substantial sum, further underscoring the contentious nature of their relationship.

The ongoing saga between Freeway Ricky Ross and Rick Ross continues to captivate fans and industry observers alike, as questions surrounding identity, influence, and intellectual property rights remain at the forefront of the discourse.
