Kanye West to Countersue Ex-Assistant Over ‘Baseless’ Sexual Harassment Claims

Kanye West has announced that he will countersue his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, over claims that he sexually harassed her.

In a lawsuit filed earlier this week, Pisciotta accused the rap icon of masturbating in front of her and sending lewd messages and sexually explicit videos of himself.

His legal representative told TMZ: “In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta, who actively pursued him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected.” !-- JalewaAds - Ad Display Code --> The Chicago native’s team also accuses his former assistant of stealing his phone in an attempt to erase evidence that would disprove her claims.
Pisciotta also sued West for wrongful termination, which his representatives refute. They claim her employment was ended because she was unqualified and made outrageous salary demands, as well as engaging in “lascivious, unhinged conduct.”

The mogul’s attorneys also claim that she attempted to shake him down for tens of millions of dollars before filing the lawsuit in court.
